⁸ “Spend the night here,” Balaam said to them, “and I will report back to you with the answer the Lord gives me.^(A)” So the Moabite officials stayed with him.

¹³ And when God had me wander^(A) from my father’s household,^(B) I said to her, ‘This is how you can show your love to me: Everywhere we go, say of me, “He is my brother.”’”
